Im in the complete opposite of your opinions on the officiating. I thought the crew did a very good job calling the game. Regardless of the foul count there is not a rule stating they have to be even. I think that is a very mute point that most uneducated sports fans complain about. Typically when officials begin a game they set a tone on what they are going to call whether that be the hand checks and push fouls or they let them play a little more. Tey might make changes according if the game gets out of hand and there is much rougher play. Either way the fouls get called. You have to remember 9 times out of 10 you have a much worse angle on fouls refs call. Something that might look like a foul 60 feet away is merely something different 3 feet away.
Just a thought but maybe JJK was playing rougher in the first half? Maybe they corrected themselves and realized they cannot push and what not.
I try not to be so judgmental toward officials in our area. They all try their hardest to call the game correctly.

Salyers, Dillon Clark, and Aaron Clark all played well for JJK. I'm sure people will say I'm just belly aching but I've never seen a call like that, especially in that spot. If it were I, I wouldn't have that official back. The sad thing is, the guy who actually missed the foul gave us every call, almost making them up after the screw up to benefit us. Really, the last time the game was so important the Super Crew was on it. I'm not sure what changed in two weeks.

Far from uneducated in sports. Thank you for your opinion (which you have right to). BTW it wasn't all JJK doing the pushing (alot of the point). You had folks like CJ throwing his hands up to show the refs that he was being pushed off. Like I said though,it was bad both ways. You can see it different and that's all good. Two pretty good squads at it tonight though,and JJK was better tonight. As for the angle? I was 2 rows from floor:2thumbsup: I never said the refs weren't trying either,but when you hear so much skin smacking it sounds like a porno and nothing is called yet charges are called with folks still moving their feet,you have to wonder.

If you are far from uneducated in sports you would know a charge can occur while people are still moving. IF the offense player leads with the shoulder and creates contact with the defensive player it is a charge EVERY single time. If both the offense and defense is running and the offensive player bumps the defender enough to displace him it is a charge EVERY single time.
You might want to brush up on your rules there sports guru.

And as far as saying you sat two rows up that still has no meaning on your angle to a foul. Pay close attention tot he next game you watch on where officials are placed on the court. They are positioned so they can get the best angles on match-ups. Remember the officials move to get the best position for a possible matchup... It is tough to see anything unless it is 4 feet from you. If you are 10 feet or further away form a play 50 percent of the time you cant see enough of the play to call a foul especially if you are in the stands.

Difference being that was not the case in each instance

Then what is the instance? You said in an earlier post "how can you call a charge with you feet still moving". So what is it?

The definition of a charge in the rulebook mentions the word torso about 3 times. Paraphrasing here, but a charge is when the defensive player has proper defensive position and the offensive player dislodged the defender by making contact with the defender's torso.
The defensive player can be moving. He doesn't have to fall. Heck, he can even jump.
